I took this picture of a student and his wife during one of my seminars in Denmark. He didn´t believe pictures of people from behind would sell. I thought the best thing I could do for him was to take one of him and his wife. They now have a nice enlargement in their home and they love it. The picture was taken just after the sun went down. The warm sky reflects nicely into the water, giving the picture a more even tonality.

This area is famous for its painters, late in the last century. I think the Barry Rankin water color negative tops it off nicely. P.S. The bird was really there!
