BETWEEN THE LINES
It started to rain as we were driving to the site for this session, 25 minutes from my studio. We parked and started the 15 minute walk as the rain got worse on this cold November day. We were still optimistic as we arrived at the location, even though it was still raining and very windy.
One focusing was all I was able to take before putting a plastic bag over the finder, and so I had to trust that focusing for the 2 rolls that were shot.
The subject, my wife, had the biggest problem...keeping her eyes open in the wind and rain. Who else would put up with such a determined photographer?
The tungsten lamp held by my assistant gave light to her eyes and a pleasant, warm skin tone.
