Here comes my first recommended photographer for the year, she is one impressive woman, and a proof of how fast things can happen when the right ingredients and determination is there..
Only picking up photography 2 years ago, 20 year old Singaporean photographer Zhang Jingna (aka zemotion) has already managed to turn professional, with a portfolio that includes names like Mercedes Benz, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising (Taiwan), Architecture International, Wacom, and The Arts House.
She has also produced fashion editorials for magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Blaze and Luxury.
In 2007, she became the youngest ever recipient of Associateship in the Masters Photographers Association and was also awarded the Singapore Master Photographer that same year. In 2008, she won the Overseas Fashion & Press Photographer of the Year at the British Professional Photography Awards.
Her first solo exhibition and her book “Something Beautiful” was launched in September 2008 in Singapore. I just got my limited edition hardbound copy in the mail and love it. Enjoy one very talented and fast progressing photographer.
