Dear customers, students, blog readers, sponsors, etc. Today’s image was taken of me during a Wedding School evening out at the Great Salt Lake. I was just talking away while our model was changing and BANG clever Charles Uibel shot one of my favorite images of me ever, thank you Charles. 2007 was a year of transition and you all helped making it work! The International School of Photography was founded in San Antonio, Texas on January 18th. We did our first Wedding School a 3-day School sponsored by Canon in March and started our 3 part Photographing People Classes which all have been a great success. I have spent more than 30 years as a photographer and about 15 as a speaker and these classes have been a real shortcut for photographers to get better images and better businesses much faster. I keep going to Europe teaching a lot and in fall 2008 as most of you know I will do a 23 country tour with Henk Van Kooten.
I have so many good memories with so many great people. The passion for Photography sure brings together great people. In 2008 I am starting a new concept, a 1 day one-on-one consulting program, where I am all yours, for what you need the most, for a whole day–you set the schedule. I am doing my first 2 weeks with the new concept in Denmark in February. I will be doing max 12 Weddings again this year, got a GREAT magazine contract for 2008 so I believe it will be a great year. I just LOVE how our profession progress every day, new things to learn ALL the time. Hope you and yours all will have a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
