Best time to shoot during a Wedding Reception!

There is a period of about 20 minutes of a Wedding Reception I get VERY active. It’s when the balance between the sky and room is perfect. Indoors it will give you perfect blue in the windows; outside just the very best blue sky. The image in today’s blog is from an atrium so it has a glass roof. Take advantage of this time to get the best overviews, it starts usually around 5-10 minutes after the sun is down. I’m excited about our next Wedding School sponsored by Canon and The International School of Photography March 3-5th at Pictureline, Salt Lake City, Utah.See link: education at kennethlinge.com. We also have a few places left for our Photographing People Part 1 seminar (all levels) in Salt Lake City this Saturday the 26th. My first week of Studio consulting in Denmark is sold out, but I have some openings week 2, Feb.18-20th.
Hope you all have a great Martin Luther King Day, what a great man!
